What was your first job?
When I was 16 I worked as a receptionist in my family’s salon and as a cleaner at my school!
Who's influenced your career most (and why)?
I have to say Sarah Clark – Deputy Director of HR at St Mungos Broadway. She really helped me to identify my passion for HR. She is passionate about what she does but at the same time takes a pragmatic and straight talking approach that is extremely effective.
What's the skill you'd most like to have?
I would quite like to know what it feels like to be a mathematical genius!
What's on your desk?
Currently a litre of water, a tea and the latest copy of People Management magazine.
What's your favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere hot! But this time last year I was in holidaying in Thailand and its one of the greatest places I have been.
What are you passionate about?
Feminism, equality and working in the charitable sector means a lot to me.

What's the best quality in a leader?
If you had to eat one thing every day, what would it be?
What's your all-time favourite book (and why)?
To Kill a Mockingbird. Read it for the first time at school and countless times since. Every time I read it I take something new away from it.
What's the thing you hate the most?
Ignorance and intolerance.
What did you want to be as a child?
A marine biologist

It’s sad but my Kindle!
What's the best thing about your job?
Working within such a knowledgeable, inspiring and friendly team! But also supporting our clients to make the decisions that will ensure the longevity of their organisations.
